Bartender

The 2nd edition The Bartender course at Don Bosco Vocational Training Institute, Quepem, got off to a rousing start on 7th January 2019. The trainer Mr. Filipino Viegas, himself an experienced bartender on several cruise liners, and with over 20 years of experience is passionate about his skills. He shares them with the students with unsurpassed enthusiasm. The students learn at least three mocktails during each session and the array of colours is a treat to the eye.
Bartending is getting a new perspective in recent years for wedding celebrations, parties and other celebrations as it complements the food service for such celebrations. Bartending has emerged with an identity of its own at such celebrations in order to provide more personalised and better service to guests. This need has resulted in the demand for more and professional bartenders. Mr.Filipino Viegas is now venturing to undertake bar service for various occasions with the team of his students. We hope that this skill will provide employment to many goan youth who have this talent .
The next batch for the Bartender course is scheduled to commence on 15th February 2019 at 8.50 a.m sharp. Candidates desirous of joining the course should enrol in the institutes office by 9th February 2019 and will be interviewed by the Director.
